Education, Theme Parks and “OMG”

It’s been a while since my last blog post – and I won’t be able to post a lot in the next two weeks because of some personal activities planned. Sorry for that!

Also, regarding investing and changes in my portfolio… just a few things have changed recently (see below). All of my current investments are going steady in the long run, and I’m saving up for my next $100 investment (I never invest more than $100 in one project/equity). Here’s the current status:

I have no idea what this is and why I have it, but on September 19, about 0.1 “OMG” were deposited into my wallet – and it wasn’t me who did it. The USD equivalent is about $1.

[09 October 2017] I’ve found out what this was all about… the OMG airdrop. More information can be found here: https://www.omise.co/omisego-airdrop-update

Peer to Peer Lending

Platform Funding Circle
Change since last time: [1 new project]

This project is an educational company who has won a tender in the UK for training teachers regarding class management. The project requires some investments before they can start training, which is why they opted for a loan.

Platform InvestorMatch

Platform Geldvoorelkaar

The project that I’ve invested in is TapeMyDay. They create souvenirs in the form of videos that summarize your day. For example when you visit a theme park. If you plan on getting your day taped, you will buy a wristband at the start of the day. Their smart cameras throughout the theme park will make a movie of your visit, showing all highlights (you going down a water slide, or in the middle of a looping on a rollercoaster). At the end of the day, you deposit your wristband and minutes afterwards a HD quality movie is yours.
