Last weekend was exciting… a little too exciting. If it wasn’t for this blog I probably would have followed my emotions and sold some or all of my cryptocurrency. That’s what I tend to do when stocks, cryptocurrency or other holdings go down in value, fast. But I’m here for the long run. I’m looking to keep my positions for months or years, not days or weeks.
In my first status update you can read that I’m currently holding some BitCoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH). And this is what I saw last Friday:
Not very good for my nerves to see both BTC (-9%) and ETH (-11%) drop in value so suddenly. It had something to do with China planning to close cryptocurrency exchanges.
Just as I was about to sell my valuable assets I realized… if that’s what I’m going to do, then on this blog I should be able to explain why I got rid of my BTC and ETH. And I didn’t really have (any?) good arguments. Which made me stop my emotional action and snap back into reality.
I’m in it for the long run…
